Terra Vida is a great place to live. It is a convienent, affordable and nice place to bring your family, your dogs, or to get a great start on life.
I strongly disagree with a majority of what has been said in these reviews.
I have been at this property for over 3 years. I originally was a renter. I moved here from San Diego after serving in the Navy. This is the first home that my wife and I ever had together. We were young people getting a start on life and Terra Vida offered affordability with alot of ammenities. It is located in the heart of the East Valley so it was convienent as well.
I have worked on this property in every aspect of the business. I started in the maintenance department, leased apartments and I currently handle all the day to day operations and problem resolutions. Although we have expirenced various issues in the time I have been here, We strive to address them as quickly and thoroughly as possible. People that don't pick up after their dogs are fined $50 when it is reported and we have a cleaning service to specifically deal with this issue. Crime on our property is below average for a community this size. You can go to any city web sight and give them the address for a community and they will give you a list of calls for service. I have seen surprising numbers on some of the more "premier" communities in places like Chandler and Scottsdale. We are a proactive community that strives to educate our residents and enforce our policies if necessary. We encourage our residents to prevent crime and protect themselves. We cannot guarantee or offer safety. We have always had a PSA officer on site to try and monitor the activity, they are contracted as off duty Mesa police officers and that affords us the luxury of having the Mesa Police Department performing courtesy monitoring.
Many issues arise due to roomate issues, relationship issues, or bad choice in friends. That being said any and all issues that have been brought to my attention have been addressed to best of our abilities. We can only solve the problems that have been brought to our attention. I would venture to say that any apartment community is never perfect, whether you are paying $500 or $900 you will never find perfection. I honestly care about my residents, I know most of them if not all of them by name. I pour a great deal of effort and hard work into my job because I love people,
I consider my self to be honest and matter of fact. I believe in this community because it is affordable we do extensive background checks on every one who walks through the doors, and it is a really nice place to live. Come by, ask questions and I promise to be honest, courteous, reliable and I will do everything in my power to make your stay here a pleasent one.

You've got to be kidding me, right? Management doesn't give a %^&$ about their residents and that is about the bottom line. In fact, every employee (they seem to rotate weekly) that I have seen at TV act as if they are put-off by actually having to "deal" with a tenant. Poor babies!!

Well no experience except over the phone until they hung up on me! I was just asking for directions, as the ad had an address that was incorrect and they (the office) didn't even bother to ask about it, where I had seen it, what magazine. It was just here's our address,CLICK...

Yes your apartments are convient, near the prositutes and drug dealers and the train tracks to give you that special rumble in the middle of the night. And least we forget, the pool and the work out room looks nice, asked for a key a long time ago, several times, yet to receive one.
