I would say this is a good place to live if it was no more than $700 a month for a two bedroom, but we're paying over $850 a month and for another $50, we could be at a NICE place where there aren't stray cats ghetto a$$ people living.
We've lived here for about a year, and can't wait to get the hell out!!! The first problem started about two weeks after being here. To make a long story short, the wiring for the cable here is BAD and it took 4 trips by Cox to come out and get it right over a 4 month period, so we didn't have internet during most of that time (it's not the cable company, it's that the wires are split too many ways and the complex wouldn't allow them to run a line outside, but the 4 guy was able to do some tricky re-wiring and get it taken care of, but I had to lose HD in my bedroom because the signal wasn't strong enough.
Management is very rude overall, the pool isn't well kept and maintenance is the worst I"ve seen. I have had them come and take something from the apartment to match it for repair, and that was 6 months ago and never heard back, am missing a piece in that I will probably have to pay for. I don't feel it's my responsibility to have to follow up for something so simple.
We reported our washing machine making loud noises months ago, and they said, "they all do that." Whatever, I don't really care that much, but my neighbor filed a noise complaint (not after or before noise hours), because of it. They said they'd come look at it two weeks ago, but no word yet. Then, the dryer recently quit working. They told me it's going to be 5 days until they can look at it. I told them to look at the washer too, and this was the first the girl had heard of it although we received a complaint. Also, you're parking space is hella far from your apartment, and the damn blower guys wake your a$$ up every Thursday and Friday morning.
Stray cats, EVERYWHERE!!! Ants, crickets, surprised haven't seen but one or two roaches. The people that live here aren't very pleasant. Most of them are low income older people who file a noise complaint at noon on a Sunday when you're watching TV. We've had multiple noise complaints and haven't ever had more than a total of 4 or 5 people here (maybe 3 times), and those weren't even close to around the time of the complaints. There are a lot of hispanic families with tons of little kids and no good looking girls here, so stay away unless you have cruddy credit and think you're getting a deal. Don't be fooled, do what we wish we would have done and go somewhere else. I'm just glad we signed a short lease.
