Starting to get out of hand

I have lived in the apartment complex for about 3 years, and I do have to say that in many cases the apartment has taken HUGE strides in a positive direction over the last year or so. The grounds have become much better and safety has improved noticibaly. That being said, there are some very important things. First off, there is a notible lack of personalized service with the staff. You are one of several hundred residents, so expect to be treated as one of several hundred. This isn't a hugely terrible thing, but just walk in expecting a certain level of service. In addition, the facility does have a pest problem. As long as you keep on the office they will get pest control out frequently enough to keep it down. Here are the two biggest issues I see currently with the complex: 1) The complex is catering very much towards lower socio-economic end of the hispanic population, so as a result you will suffer vandalism to your car, and expect things like trash, kids destroying the property and similar situations. 2) The office no longer accepts packages for residents. I don't know why, but that really upset me. I get a package a month, and now I have to drive out to east mesa to get it. I am moving out from here because they are no longer competitive in terms of cost. While before the much lower rent was a decent offset for the issues the community had, now they are charging the same as you would see in Chandler and Tempe for gated communities. Although overall the complex isn't 'awful', you can find better, gated communities for the same price or less.
