I would have said this was OK if you didn't have much money to spend on rent, but they charge too much for what you get. If you are EXTREMELY tidy, you will be able to keep the bugs (ROACHES) to a minimum.
What to expect:
Loud Mexican music
Unruly, unsupervised children
No decent parking after 5pm
Unprofessional maintenance
On the good side, there is a manager named Sam who is nice and helpful. The others are pretty rude and always seem to just be trying to "win" an argument.
Drunk people tried their keys in my door quite a bit, and the kids liked to bang on the ground-level windows and run. I have to say that, as long as I shut my bedroom door to keep out the noise of drunks trying their keys in my lock, I slept quite well and was lucky to not have loud neighbors at night. Appliances not working and maintenance never fixing things are basically what I was accustomed to. I didn't like this place, but I HAVE SEEN MUCH WORSE. The grounds are pretty too. The stray cats are fun to hiss at and tease, so I don't complain about those. It's pretty much ghetto so I didn't renew.
P.S. The Mormons stalk everyone at this place. In the first 2 months I lived there, I was HOUNDED on SIX seperate occasions. They knock on your door, stop you in your tracks, wave to you from across the lot, and try to talk to you from outside your patio if your door is open. UGH!
