I lived in this complex for a year (August '06 to August '07). The main problem I had were the cockroaches. They have pest control come once a week, but they only spray the grounds, so the pests come running into the apartments. I treated my apartment with boric acid and bleach-cleaned all closets, drawers, and cabinets. That helped the problem tremendously. I was welcomed home every night by the police chopper circling the area. Parking was not a problem, but I was in the very back units, furthest from all civilization. My neighbors were very loud. The neighbors on the right always had domestic disputes and loud children crying or laughing or loud tv's throughout the night. The neighbor on the left of me apparently had surround sound and enjoyed watching movies with the sound as loud as it would go. With both neighbors, I had things fall off my walls and shelves. Then, they had the odacity to complain on me, and I wasn't even in town that week! I lived on the third floor, and the last couple of months that I was there, all the lights on the staircases were burned out. I reported it numerous times, and they finally replaced the light on the second stairwell. That was very dangerous for me, being a woman and walking home in the dark. Overall, I would say that it is a very dangerous area, and they do not care about their patrons, just the outstanding rent that you are paying for an area that does not cost that much. Think twice before moving here.
