Long story short I moved in with an Ex of mine. Little did I know what the hell I was getting into. That's just what it was too. First off I'm not a complete loser. I had no idea that he was. First off I can say off hand I know allot of drugs traffic threw that complex on a regular basis. so where to begin he lives ALONE now in a studio apartment and pays just under $600 plus whatever utilities are. lucky me I never had to pay them. Also I never signed a lease yey for me. I got a third shift Job because of this guy. Who of all druggies was luckily for me just a stoner. Keep in mind I'm Not. I was willing to handle him and whatever aliments he had but after one straw after another and that tiny cramped crappy place that I didn't feel safe at alone I had to leave. Here is a detailed review.
Parking- There are no assigned spots. It wasn't all that bad to find something covered. Usually it was quite far away. also I'm almost positive those are not appropriate sized spots. I have a Toyota corolla and still had a hard time parking in some spots. Even when I did I had a hard time getting in and out of my car. I'm 5'8" and 135lbs so I'm not at all over weight. So I wasn't to shocked the last time I went to pick up the rest of my stuff and a car port had collapsed. Not he first time it happened either.
Noise- you can hear the neighbors threw the wall. Not only that the windows are single pained and well they provide no insulation at all. the walls are thin you can hear people out side just as though they were out side your window.
Grounds- not that bad actually there was allot of green grass and it's not that easy to keep grass green out here. I actually liked the grounds there more then the place I'm staying at here in Scottsdale.
Safety- whats safety there' Drugs are constantly being trafficked there. Cars are broken into on a normal basis. One of the girls kidnapped and killed lived there and I guess was kidnapped from that place. the "ghetto bird" is constantly spot lighting that place I saw the swat team searching for some one once at night there. The list goes on and on. people can have all out brawls there with out those rent a cops showing up even. or even getting a noise complaint I would know I was a witness to one before I left.
Construction- My apartment had not been renovated but they replaced the Ac. Well you could here the people on the roof and it sounded like they were on the ceiling its self not only that but there were particulars from the ceiling falling down when they were walking around up there. not only do you get single pained windows you also get paper thin walls so no matter what remodeling they do its aways going to suck there. the windows let air in, and you can see sunlight coming in from around the frame. also in the bathroom if you look behind the toilet you can clearly see the 1970's wall paper. haha it's funny
Maintenance- I'm not sure. My Ex had cats and wasn't paying the pet rent or deposit to have them. So you would think he fixed the things that went wrong but ohh no. I did the sink was clogged so I un-clogged it but afterword's it still constantly got backed up the garbage disposal never worked and I am a chick so I wasn't about to mess with it. I cleaned the air filter and changed the light-bulbs so I did a great job at doing the maintenance.
Staff- never met them I wasn't supposed to be staying there in the first place.
Overall- well I'm not living there am I. I think there are allot of people like me thinking the same thing that place sucks all the way around. I know that there are 1 bedrooms that cost the same as that studio. Its not worth it to live there and everything there sucks.

Mesa and Tempe have the highest rate for crime, in all of the Phoenix area. If you can aford it I sugest moving to scottsdale. Its pretty lenthy and touches tempe and almost touches mesa on the southern end. I would have to know more about you to suggest some places to live. Like how old you are, what you like to do in your free time and how much do you want to pay monthly?
