I have lived here almost nine months. The SWAT team has been here twice since. The Mesa PD is here about two to four times a month. My motorcycle got stolen from here while it was parked in the motorcycle parking. My neighbors are okay but they are one reason why the police come often. My other neighbors are loud with their music and yelling at their kids. I can hear it through the walls. My neighbors below me reek of smoke. The pool is dirty because people take their young kids in without pool diapers and sometimes the homeless jump the fence and bathe in the pool. The "second pool" is very small and just a lap pool. The main pool has no restrooms. The lighting at night is good in some places but poor in others. They only have one laundry room and if you don't live close to it you walk far. Once the locked glass door to the laundry room was shattered with blood spots on the floor. I don't know what happened but it was kind of scary. The office didn't issue any kind of statement for how they are trying to help or make anything safer. When I moved in the staff told me they are not responsible for my safety, which is true, but at least they could try to make an effort to make the apartment community more secure or letting it be known what behavior will be punished. When I moved in they boasted they had a partol service, but that was for about a month and I never saw them again. I have had a few roaches in the apt. The fitness room equipment is mostly broken, except some treadmills. They do have a wood floor area with a mirror for free-weight or aerobic exercise- thats nice. They also have a ton of covered parking that isn't assigned, which I really really like. Many lights in the parking lot are broken though. The grass just recently got cut after it grew to about a foot high on some places- for about two months they didn't cut it! When they water the grass at night the sidewalk is flooded in some places and it gets your shoes soaked. The office staff have a very high turnover. They do have a raffle for those who pay rent early- $50 off next month's rent. I have never heard of anyone winning it though. The weight limit is supposed to be like thirty or fourty lbs. and breed restictions but I see bigger dogs and pitbulls all the time. I have never used the raquetball or hockey court, they seem to be okay. I have used the basketball half court and it's ok. The printer in the business office doen't work, their fax doesn't print a confirmation. I was expecting it to be worse though. People mind their own business. The maintenaince crew are nice. I did get a nice move in incentive, one month free and 200 off the next month. For the money it is pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Nice move in incentives will be paid when you move out. Wait and see. They will go after you for that month rent plus the $200 when you leave. Good luck and we will be waiting to hear your future comments when you leave the complex.
