Lived here a few years ago; it was, as above "a quasi-retrmt community", quiet and nice. It was always kept up, and nice enough to come back to about a year ago. Sadly, things have changed. The grounds themselves are still reasonably kept and decent-looking, but the laundry rooms/machines seem to have been abandoned, and are filthy. Up until the recent mgmt. change, I had never been a problem, or had any problems, and now they're trying to "clean the place up", by banning virtually all items most people would consider reasonable on porches (like a bike; asking to remove a ratty couch is understandable...but..), and handing out weasely, threatening notes and 10-day warning/eviction notices for "breach of lease" for one "unauthorized" item. GMAB. The new mgmt needs to either get over itself and lay off, and accept that the cleanup effort is too little, MUCH too late. BTW, they would've raised rent $50 had I stayed. For a bit more, I now have a much nicer place with W/D AND a fireplace. Sadly, Sunridge is not recommended anymore.

BTW, most of the people moving in these days are noisy, trashy, low-class (attracted by (formerly) low rent), and obnoxious. They hang out on their porches enough during the day (in large groups) that one wonders if they actually have jobs. The overall "people element" of this place has bottomed out. Not one reasonably normal, non-(insert any race here for those of you who care)-trasy person have I noticed in the last 6-8 months (really, no exaggeration). We do not need another squatter's hub in the valley. This is no longer a livable apartment complex in the "normal" sense. It has become one of those places most reasonable people would take one look at upon visiting, look at each other, and wordlessly say "Uh, No thanks", just from seeing what comes into the office. Not apologizing. True.
