I had posted the first review here in 2004 and continue to live here, since 2003. I still love this place. I was also the Recovered Addict who began the 12-Step Cocaine Anonymous Meeting here, that eventually went dark. I was traveling, alot (work related) and with limited participation, warranted the meeting to go dark. 'Going Dark' is what it is called, when a meeting no longer is held, at a specific location. Their is a stigmatization about recovering and recovered Alcholics and Addicts. I won't attempt to quell any fears here, it is not an appropriate venue to do that. My point is the meeting went dark on its own, no one shut it down. We were providing a Community Service and the management team was supportive and understanding. Great place to live, with occasional bad tenents, that have rights too. The key to overcoming any perceived and real problem is always, communication, with the Managers and the Neighbors, at issue. And these people will listen, if approached respectfully.
