They don't care

Sure, they are nice to you until move in. After that, they really don't care. I've had problems with my upstairs neighbors for the last 2 years. I've complained and nothing has changed. I finally got tired of it and decided I needed to get out. They won't let me out of my lease. I am expected to pay $1,500 to leave that place. It might actually be worth it, but they haven't earned that $1,500 and I've been paying for the last 2 years. They keep using the excuse that it is billed automatically and they can't do anything about it. Yeah, right!!! Somebody can, but won't. I recommend to anyone who decides to live there to get a second floor apartment. You definitely won't be happy on the first floor.
I've also had a lot of maintenance problems, including a pipe that has leaked and flooded part of the apartment twice in the last year. Apparently, they didn't quite fix it the first time. The pipe was by the storage room, so I've had a lot of stuff ruined because of it.
And as for the changes they're making, they are painting the buildings the ugliest colors they could find. And what's up with painting the corners of the building a darker color than the rest of it' It might've worked if it was just the trim, but the whole corner' It looks strange. I'm getting out of this place not a moment too soon.
