My husband and I are current residents and we feel we are getting a great deal for the money. We have a spacious 1100 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bath apt with full size washer dryer, a huge master bedroom with walk in closet, fireplace, kitchen with everything you need including microwave and dishwasher, a patio with views of the mountains & extra storage, 6 pools to choose from outside, & a really sweet elderly couple for downstairs neighbors. We have surround sound speakers & have never recieved a complaint from neighbors. Previous neighbors had 3 kids and we never heard them through our walls. The drawbacks: Our fireplace is difficult to use even after they had it cleaned because some smoke smell still blows in, you can hear footsteps outside so it sounds like someone is walking inside your apt-a little creepy at first, renewal leases aren't flexible enough when you are looking to buy a house & they allow large dogs which occasionally means large poops in the rocks! I still think you get a lot for the money. The Fry's grocery store/Target shopping area nearby also has spectacular mountain views. Oracle Rd gives easy travel access. We have one reserved covered parking but they allow you to park along curbs since there are not enough uncovered spots in all areas. I have never had problems with the office staff but I can also sympathize with them as I work for an unrelated management company in Tucson. I recommend Suntree for anyone who wants to live in the area. It seems pretty safe here too. If you want to live closer to U of A check out Sunrise Apartments for great deals or La Entrada for luxury living!
