I have now been at these apartments for two years. They are not built well and though they seem large there is a lot of unusable space in them. I honestly can't wait till my lease is up! The new management company is horrible. I don't know a single person there they have not lied to. My husband has lived there about 8 years now. He used to tell me it was such a great place, and at first it was. Emma, who was the manager before, was great!

I have had several problems in my apartment the refrigerator freezes everything on the top shelf, the oven takes over two hours to bake a potato, the wood holding up the patio and fencing it off (they claim to have replaced these) is dry rotting, and now my dryer is taking twice as long to dry clothes. In the numerous times I have requested someone look at these problems I have been informed that for about $150.00 more a month I could have new appliances. I'm not so worried about them being new; I just want them to work. I did have a problem with the dishwasher leaking all the time but after a year they finally replaced it. As my lease is up soon I doubt I ll see anything else taken care of.

A Lady I met just before she moved in a few months ago was so excited about having new appliances and told me about it, she also said that they were putting in new counters in the kitchen and bathrooms. When she moved in she found that those appliances that had been replaced were very cheap and all they did to the refrigerator was paint it black to match. They also had not put in the new counters and told her not to put anything on them that they would replace them soon. Well they didn't, they painted those as well!

So don't be fooled that this is a good price for the area, and remember you don't always get what you pay for!

I agree with you about the leasing people being very untrustworthy, and just useless. When I moved out, they tried to charge my husband and I 258.00 more over the 300.00 deposit they already were keeping. I took them to court, and won, but now the management company is calling FOUL because they "never received the court date". Bunch of devious people, I say. Be careful when your lease is up and they try to stick you with fees that don't make sense. If it has been over a year since they painted your apt, get it painted prior to your leaving it. If you haven't had your carpets shampooed in a while, do those too. Good luck, and GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!!
