This is a horrible complex. The new management refuses to help solve any problems. There is dog crap everywhere and the complex is unsafe. Several Oro Valley police officers have informed me to move out of this place because they frequently visit this place. They had nothing but bad things to say about these apartments. A lot of vandalism occurs here and the floors are so thin that you can hear the people in the apartment below forget the noise from upstairs. There is also very little parking for a second car. You only get one parking spot. I also don't feel comfortable swimming in the pools. They don't look very clean.

On the plus side the maintenance here is very good. They fix things right away.

I moved a month ago and I have not seen any police here for anything except just driving through the property. As far as any dog poop, I have seen the maintenance guys picking it up as well as trash early in the morning. I give them the A for trying and feel bad that pet owners are so careless and will not pick up after their pet. However, through my time here I have seen one piece of poop on the grass outside my apartment and it was gone a few days later. I don't know what you mean about the thin floors either, I was worried about watching movies and playing music through my home theater system so I would set it to a low volume close the door and listen to see if I could hear it. I did this multiple times, each time turning it up louder. After a few times I could hear my music but it was alot higher volume than I would ever really listen to it. I think the office staff is great and the location is amazing. My only complaint would be that they have 6 pools in the complex, but only one is heated during the winter.

Hmmm. I tend to agree with the original poster. Management stinks just as bad as the dog poop that NEVER got picked up between buildings 19 and 20. I agree with the responding poster, the dog owners are responsible, but when they are seen, caught and reported to management then nothing happens, what can you do? The floors are thin. The walls are thin. Parking sucks. Not enough spaces for anyone to ever visit, unless they walked over, or rode a bike! As for the police.... in 2007 alone (8 days shy of the end of the year) there were over 200 incidents at the address of 8851. That doesn't mean they were all vandalism, but responder to poster is absolutely wrong about no police being in the complex. I personally think the anonymous responder is probably one of the managers. I shall be anonymous too, although I have already left my user name on another review of this same place.

I am moving out of this apartment complex because the management sucks. My a/c broke and stayed broke for over a month. No lie...They insulted my girl-friend, myself, all for no reason. They don't care about you or your problems...by the way my a/c went out sometime in early May...it just got fixed yesterday(06/26/08).
