I lived here a year and overall I dislike it. Our rent was raised $30 initially becuase of new management and by the time we moved out we were paying and extra $40 on top of that. Our 2 bdr was $800 when we started the leasing process and is going for nearly $1000/mos if we want to resign. I wasn't there when there was old management and when got there right when new management came in (Archstone). The first batch of employees were great- pleasant, people oriented and easy to communicate with despite their lack of ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner. It's semi-understandable w/ new management, but... The repairs we needed addressed took a painfully long time to get fixed and it seemed we always had to prod the staff to get to it. Our roof leaked, the tub was rotten underneath and close to falling through, the tub repair took nearly 2 monthes to get to and was out of service for much longer than accounted for, our fire extinguishers were long expired and never replaced, we had to get flooring replaced becuase the painters ruined them, a door was boken when we needed the tub replaced and was never fixed, a door that was broken when we moved in was never fixed and our thermostat remained faulty until the day we left even though we asked for it to be fixed a few times. The children in the complex seem to be an issue. Parents or help from management, I'm not sure which is the problem but many run rampid and are often pesty and disrespectful. It's very hot in the summer, must be poor insulation. Noise from outside is often bad but not bad from other neighbors on the other side of the wall. The first batch of employees left and new ones came in- not very pleasant or people orientated. I avoid a trip to the office if I have to anymore. We gritted our teeth and braved the weather for a year and tried to make our time pleasant but it was just miserable. Overall it's too pricey for what you really get and it's not even in prime location although it is in a convenient location. A good thing: the pool gets cleaned everyday...
