Contractor hired by complex caused damage

The complex hired a contractor to come in and replace the sprinkler heads in my apartment and garage. One head in the garage was installed incorrectly causing a good deal of water damage. I later found out that about 30 other people had the same problem or worse. The complex refuses to take responsiblity for hiring a bad contractor and has left us all holding the bag. DONT MOVE HERE.
