I had a roof leak for months. It was not just a brown ceiling, but there was an actual steady drip into my living room. After writing three work orders and getting no response, I was finally forced to write a less then plesent letter expressing my disapproval and giving my notice to move out. Needless to say, this got their attention. They came and "fixed" it that day. They just patched the hole in the ceiling. I am sure that the next big rain storm or two it will leak again.
After I moved out I was informed that my leaky roof was not their problem, or a violation of their lease and promise to keep up the apartment. So, as a result, I was charged a HEFTY fee (over $2,300.00) to move out two months early because I was sick of living with water and a bucket in my apartment.
Also, to make my stay worse, there was a dog downstairs that made it impossible to sleep or get any peace and quit ever! He barked 24/7.
Unless you can sleep through anything, and expect nothing to break in your apartment I would not live here!
