Claims luxury, yet has mice & crime.

These apartments claim to be luxury apts, however after living there for 16 months, I find this to be false. We first lived in phase 1 which are older. All seemed well at first. Management did not respond to any complaints of excessive noise or even seem to care. After staying in a phase 1 apt for almost a year, we finally upgraded and moved to phase 2. Well, we thought is was an upgrade. Management didn't even have this apt clean for us to move in. The first night in this apt, we found out we had mice. In the first week, we caught 6 mice. We informed the manager right away. Her response was "Oh, we've never had mice before". She offered to give us sticky traps to catch and them and said to call for removal when we did catch them. When we called, it took maintanence 2 days to show up. By then, we had already gotten rid of it ourselves.
As for safety & crime, we had property stolen from our patio. My husband had his car vandalized and my car was stolen from my reserved parking space in the middle of the night. There is suppose to be someone to patrols the complex after hours. This someone is an old man who drives around very occassionaly during daylight hours in his Lincoln car. Never seem him at night. We did not feel safe here at all.
Too pricey for the condition and location.
