My Fiance' and I moved into the complex about 4 months ago. SO far it's ok. When we first moved in we had an issue with the apartment not being ready. They pressured us into moving in on the weekend we signed for. When we signed the lease, the woman said they had just finished painted the apartment ( that was on Thursday). Saturday when we went to pick up the keys, the other sales guy said they had painted the apartment the night before and there maybe a little bit of overspray. When we went in - everything was covered in paint dust. There were paint puddles on the floor. All of our furniture was covered. Complained to the front office. They re-cleaned the carpeting and appliances. They could have told before the day we were going to move in that there were issues. They did correct the issue.

Other than that, there has been no major issues so far.

My name is Kaulana DeLeon and I am the Assistant Manager at Camden Fountain Palms. All pricing for Camden Communities changes on a daily basis. The price for them moving in on the time frame that they originally wanted was going to be more expensive. I personally gave them the option to move in sooner to get their rent lower on a monthly basis. Any resident that went with this option would pay more from a move in cost because the pro rated rent would be more but they would get the cheaper rent throughout the duration of their lease. The apartment was re-painted the day before but it was ordered for just a touch up paint. After walking the apartment we noticed that our vendor painted the whole apartment while it was vacant rather than just a touch up. I personally informed the resident what happened and let them know prior to moving in that we will need to get back in there after they move in possibly to finish up. It was brought to our attention about the paint on the appliances and carpeting and we resolved it in a timely manner.

Prior to moving in was our move in day when i went to the front office to get our keys- having already put our furniture in a moving truck waiting to get moved. Not like we had much of an option.
