We moved into these apartments 7 years ago and this is the last straw. The management team are impossible to work with.. They continuously hide behind their answering service and cannot be contacted for any reason. Go ahead i encourage anyone to attempt to reach anyone on site at this location the number is 623-933-5504... try and call you will always get through to an answering service/leasing service located in Texas. Just pick up your phone and try to get through , i challenge you to do this!!
We have resided here as i said before for 7 years but the management team has changed in the last three years which has led to the decline of the camden living experience, and to which i lay blame.
Allow me to be a bit specific so as to give you a clue as to what you will have to deal with here at camden sierra in peoria arizona...
we originally started living here in october of 2002, when i signed my lease we informed the apartment complex that for six months out of the year (hottest parts of the summer) i would be returning to my home in canada and my son who is also a resident of arizona would be taking care of my place while i was out of town. he comes by to feed and visit with my little dog and occasionally will stay here as he sees fit. he lives in chandler and staying here is easier than travelling an hour to and from his house. This arrangement has worked well for all as i said before for the last 7 YEARS. I was recently informed by the new camden management team that i will no longer be allowed to have my son or anyone there while i am out of town unless they are also on the lease(what''') this has led to my receiving an eviction notice which i will get to in a minute..
About three years ago i noticed an unusual amount of bees buzzing aroud my roofline of my apartment and noticed that several cracks had appeared in the ceiling beneath the roofline inside the apartment, where the bees were congregating, Honey (yes i said honey) eventually started to leak through the cracks in the ceiling drywall which told me there was obvoiusly a beehive in the roofline. I called and informed the apartment repeatedly where upon four weeks later they finally sent someone to kill the bees. this had to be done twice before they were completely eradicated. I informed the apartment complex about the honey dripping down the walls of my apartment to which i was told and i quote " use some hot soapy water to wipe it down" This has been a concern to me because whatever insecticide they may have used to kill the bees is probably leaking along with the honey into my apartment (so much so that it has left a large stain right below the crack on the carpet) i had to cover the cracks in the ceiling with packing tape and covered the spot on the carpet with something to keep my dog from licking it. which is of course my biggest concern(my dog being poisoned) i will be taking pictures and samples of all these issues before i leave to cover any legal proceedings which i am taking with regard to this matter.. who knows if this has been slowly poisonong both (my dog and myself) of us for the last few years :( They could have tried removing the beehive but as i understand this can be very costly as the whole roof and ceiling would have to be repaired. To this day the beehive is still there and honey has started to seep arount the packing tape i tried to seal the cracks with.UNACCEPTABLE!!
During a monsoon rain also about three years ago we had leaks coming through our ceiling from the rain in another part of the apartment. they eventually fixed the roof leak but the damage to the plaster from the rain made large peices of the drywall/plaster flake and fall off. this i informed them of repeatedly, they finally had someone come in 6, yes 6 monthe later with a tub of spackle who did a quick and ugly repair, at least they tried.
We contacted maintenance about our dishwasher that was leaking water all over the floor and wasn't cycling through the wash cycle completely, they came and said it was fixed, guess what, it wasn't. We called and told them this and they said it was fixed (am i lying about it not working') but that they would come back and "fix" it again, that was two months ago and it still doesn't work!!!
Recently we have been having issues with a neighbor who moved in beneath us 6 months ago where he has complained about noise on several occasions(either by calling the police or the onsite security). complaints such as dishwasher noise, washing machine noise , intamacy noises(as politically correct as i can put it)and as recently as three weeks ago i was listening to my tiny laptop computer speakers at the same volume i always have for the last 7 years,which isn't in any way too loud and he called in another complaint. When the onsite security personnel knocked on my door at 11:30 and said there was a noise complaint i asked him if he heard anything before approaching the door to which he replied that he hadn't and he apologised for bothering me at such a late hour. The same applied when the police came to the door for washing machine noise, they said they also heard nothing but had to respond.. Now i understrand that when living in an apartment you have to be aware that noises carry so you must be fair to your neighbors but as i said before in the seven years i have resided here we have never had one noise complaint EVER nor have i changed my lifestyle in any way as to warrant these said noise complaints. but as is always the case when trying to contact the onsite management team to discuss these problems i recieved no call back when i left a voicemail and have no other way to contact them.
i recently recieved an eviction notice pending for the following issues,
1. Numerous noise complaints.(like i stated before the security person who came to the apartment said he couldn't hear anything when standing in front of the door, how can this be a noise compaint')
2. Having an unauthorized person in my apartment (my son who watches my home while i am out of town)
I fortunately was able to take care of these problems after much effort on my behalf and I am no longer facing an unwarranted eviction.
This is not to say i will continue to live here as i informed the apartment complex today that i will not sign a new lease with them after being a stellar resident for SEVEN years. My lease is up at the end of august and i cannot wait to leave this place i am uncomfortable and unhappy living here which is no way to live and it is a direct result of this place and their awful treatment of myself and my concerns. I have several other complaints but they are minor in comparison so i will just leave it at this.
!!! You have lost a very good resident who has always paid her rent on time and has never in the seven years untill recently received any complaints whatsoever, i wish the camden team all the success in the world but unfortunately i am just another number to them and that number is $875 a month, and to anyone who is considering moving here it's not worth $375 a month!!!
YOU WOULD BE MUCH BETTER OFF LOOKING ELSEWHERE.

You should have ate some of the honey, it sounds like you could use the sweetner... Chill lady, maybe some intamacy noise is what you need.

my father is a bee keeper and i csn tell you that all the honey needs to be removed for the bees to never come back and replacing the roof is bogus plenty of modern bee keepers have bee vacums that can be set at certain levels to suck the bees right out of a tough to gety at spot.//
