We moved here because we needed an affordable 3-bedroom apartment. We were able to get that here. The management changed sometime before we moved-in in July 2007. While the management is friendly and willing to get you into the place, they talk bad about their tenants, whether truth or not. They claim the complex is crime-free, however every time I talk to the manager she talks about how it's such a bad neighborhood. The neighborhood is alright. There are a few kids that cause trouble and try to steal and pick on little children. We've called the police on the children because we will not tolerate the behavior. The manager defends the bully children because they ve had a rough life. Most of the tenants I ve met are nice and feel the same way about the management. There are probably at least 3-5 eviction stickers on windows every month. So if you want to come live somewhere for a few months for free, it s standard here. I think if the management screened candidates better the number of evictions would be reduced. They do a credit check here as the screening. I would love to find the owner s contact information. I know it s a Christian Charity that owns the property. The manager and her assistant both live on site and expect preferential treatment as tenants. For example, the children who used to be allowed to play outside after school are not allowed to anymore because the assistant s hubby and baby need it to be quiet.
