Yo!

Do not look at appearance only

The building looks beautiful from outside. However, you may experience several defects if you live.

The management changed several times in last two years. I would say it is getting better but not good enough yet. The rent fee is relatively high, considered defects below and the fact that the apartment is not new anymore. If you delay the payment of the rent fee one day, you will be charged $50, and accumulated day by day without any notice.

The theater room is unique and good, (although it was out of service at least half a year.) Other public amenities like the pool and gym are OK, but do not differentiate. The trash compactor is awful. The noise of opening/closing gate annoys me everyday. Outside and public spaces (pool, game room) are noisy at night because of loud teenagers. Fortunately, the neighbors are not noisy.

The fundamental construction of the apartment might be poor. For example, the dangerous nails in the carpet come up. The doors make squeak. The drain often stops. Sewage stinks. Flushing is powerless. Especially, the AC is tremendously noisy. I cannot hear the TV while the AC is working. I bought a headphone for that reason. Moreover, the AC does not work well so that it is always working and making noise. Because the fan at the kitchen is extraordinarily poor, the fire alarm is always activated and irritates me.

In terms of security, my wife was scared visits of some crazy man on the junk and crazy teenagers who solicited for the contribution for their leisure. This might have been improved, I hope. Additionally, when I was locked out of my apartment twice, the office gave me the spare key without any ID confirmation. The spare key helped me, but giving it with no confirmation must be very dangerous.

Finally, I heard the rumor that the master key was stolen. I cannot confirm that, because the management did not tell us about that at all. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
