Looks beautiful from the outside, it's an absolute nightmare on the inside.

These apartments are just over a year old. They look beautiful when you tour, the facilities are nice, landscaping nice, etc. But it's an absolute nightmare if you live there.
If you don't have an assigned parking space, be prepared for a hike. The workmanship of this place is horrendous. There's little or no insulation between the walls (hope you like your neighbors, you may as well be living with them).
The leasing staff and maintenance staff are worthless.
8 months ago the piping in the ceiling over the bathtub leaked and caused the sheetrock to cave in.
Two weeks ago, during that last good storm, my roof started leaking and water POURED in my living room through the ceiling fan. When I called for help, I was told to put a bucket under it, maintenance was busy and probably wouldn't come out for a day or two. 5 hours later a 6x4 section of ceiling collapsed into my living room, rain pouring into my living room. Lucky me, I was laying on the couch at the time. By the time maintence showed up (45-50 minutes later), I was told, "well, you wanted me to come look at it, so I did. We aren't going to be able to do anything until next week."
Keep in mind, there is still water pouring in the apartment, a large section of ceiling in the stairwell, piles of wet insulation all over the floor. I found out later, that a minimum of 22 units had serious water damage due leaking roofs.
OVer the next 48 hours more insulation and sections of the ceiling came down.
I moved into another apartment for a week while they were starting repairs, but had to moved back to my place unfinished because the electrity in the other place failed.
According to my neighbors who watched the repairs throughout the week, they never did anything to the roof, they walked around by never pulled out a tool. When they dry walled the ceiling they didn't bother to put the insulation back in. The carpet contractors came in last week, to recarpet, and my laptop was stolen out of the apartment.
I reported it to management and the police. What did the apartment do' Nothing, they sent me a letter telling me to deal with their lawyers and that I am not allowed to communicated with maintenace or the leasing staff, "until futher notice."
Okay, so I have no ceiling fan, they never re-installed the smoke detector, and what am I supposed to do if my toliet explodes or the ceiling caves in again' Call their lawyers'
This had gotten ridulous. Save yourself to nightmare, save your things from theives, go live somewhere else.
