We've had fairly decent luck with the Lodge. While we agree with a fair amount of complaints from previous posters (thin walls, bad placement next to the canal, "security" fence not even going completely around the complex, forced internet.. etc), We personally don't have too many complaints. The thing to keep in mind here is that you aren't a homeowner. It's an APARTMENT. There's bound to be things that make you unhappy.

Maintenence has almost always done a good job when requested, and one time when we were taking the garbage out a maintenence worker even started picking it up and helping us throw it out. That was a nice surprise.

Almost all of the staff has been friendly and did not treat us with disrespect despite the fact that we too are a young, 20-something couple (as another person posted had happened). April is very kind and has always attended to our needs. The only complaint about office staff is the main woman manager. She's kind of a beast, and is very short and rude. We just try to avoid her. Everyone else has been great.

Basically I think the Lodge deserves a little more credit than it's getting here from other reviews, but whats really important to remember is that you're not going to get your fantasy home out of an apartment.

obviously,you have been here a short time get back on this site in about 9 months you will be singing a different tune.and no were not expecting house quality but a medicine cabinet would have been nice!!!!!!!
