Had to move out due to problems

As others have mentioned Qwest has a monopoly on The Lodge. I work from home via the internet so after three straight months of NO INTERNET(not just slow but broken altogether) I had no choice but to move out. I contacted Qwest daily but was told the apartment had an old system and they would not put any more time or money into fixing it. I explained to them that the residents have no other options, but you can guess what their response was. Also, Qwest sold me HDTV boxes that weren't compatible with their equipment at the Lodge and then refused to take them back. Another problem that I haven't seen mentioned in any of the postings is the heat problems caused by the lack of insulation. Even though my unit faced south I had to turn the temp control down to 75 get the place remotely bearable (still sweating, but didn't feel like I just got out of the pool). I'm in a house now and my summer electric bill is $40 less than what it was at the Lodge. Also there was no ceiling fan in the master bedroom- which should be against the law in Arizona. On the plus side the staff was always very nice and sympathetic. The two times I needed maintenance for minor things they were very prompt. The unit and grounds looked very nice and any visitors were always very impressed.
