My wife and I have lived here four about 2 yrs now. When we first moved in here the apts where pretty bad, for an example, drug trafficing, alot was going on. Eventually it slowly died down, but of course apts will always have the drug users, but for the most part it has greatly died down. The parking arrangments do suck. Whoever designed the parking was not a brainiac. The apts are old, so the ac units malfuntion alot, but as for the maintanence( Tim, and Gene ) do the best that they can to get your problem fixxed that same day. Like I said apts are old, and i know that there are alot of work orders.The best thing about maint. ( Tim ), if he is paged after hours, he will do his best to fix the prob..Managment here is friendly and courtious. Suntree Apts have two courtesy potrol guys, so the crime rate has dropped dramaticly, of course you will still get the ocasionall crime but not near as bad as it was 1 and a half yrs ago.The apts are also designed weird as in apt. numbers and building numbers, lets say you can get lost in trying to find a certain apt..The noise level is pretty much quiet, Except for the train noise we have on occasion on 83rd and Grand, but other than that ussually quiet.My opinion,the best part of these apts is the shading, lots of trees. Now for rent opinion, the two bedrms are a little pricy for how old the apts. are, but the size of them are satisfying.The one bedrms, which there are two diff. sizes lg. and sm. and they are priced decent. The only bad thing about the apts. is the age of them and they have a club house that the residents cant use. They do hold morning functions in it occasionally though. Now your question prob. now is " would I recamend these Apts to anyone'" The answer is " Of course I would, not a bad place to live."
