looks can be decieving.
we moved in because they accept large dogs.
i've been in these apts. for a year and a half. when we first moved in, we were promised the following:
24 hr. security
continental breakfast 5 days a week mon.-fri.
24 hr. facilities including pool, gym, computer room
24 hr. maintainance
poolside televisions
poolside happy hour thurs-sun
at this point, security is sometimes there, sometimes not, current security is a bunch of pimply 18 year olds on bicycles who harrass people at 11pm for id's when they are walking their dogs in their pajamas. my husband was attacked by a drunk guy in the parking lot and the police came but security did NOT and they WERE on the premesis.
pools are now closed at night.
happy hour is only on fridays.
poolside televisions were stolen due to lack of security
when we complained about a stopped up sink at 5 minutes to closing time in the office, they blew us off and told us they were closing. when i called the next day they hadn't even written it down.
the grounds are rather shabby as well, large bare spots in the grass, trees are either overgrown or over cut, swamps where the watering system is broken and has been for months, bushes die and don't get replanted.
continental breakfast is only 1 day per week.
when the lights go out outside of our apt., it took them 3 weeks to put in new bulbs.
when the fire extinguisher was stolen, it took them a month to replace.
the place has been sold twice and the latest management SUCKS. they are rude and snarky and unhelpful.
and worst of all: NO ONE EVER PICKS UP THEIR DOGS' POOP!!!!!!!!
not a good place to live!!!

The happy hour and continental breakfasts were cut back due to lack of attendance. (Which I believe becuase hardly anyone goes to the ones still available).

they were well attended last year, depending on the people who were running it, there were certain office people that no one wanted to be around so those were the ones that were not attended.

They were cut back/changed due to property insurance issues, so go drink a couple next to the pool.
