Bad Experience

I recently moved out of Adobe Ridge and I couldn't be happier about my decision. The leasing staff at Adobe is very unprofessional and, on more than one occasion, they failed to adhere to the Privacy Policy. Although the leasing staff is cordial to some tenants, they were always very condescending and rude to me, especially the manager. She actually had the nerve to tell me to be more understanding of my next door neighbor wanting to play her stereo, when I repeatedly complained about the noise being a disturbance. Security later informed me that several other tenants had repeatedly complained about the noise coming from that unit, as well; yet, the noise continued. The manager also failed to inform me that I was eligible for a student concession when I signed my lease, even though she knew that I'm a student. When I found out about the concession from another tenant six months later, my lease had to be amended. The manager then took her time deciding on whether to issue me a refund, which I was entitled to. The property is privately owned, which I thought would be a good thing. Unfortunately, when I tried to talk to the owner about his leasing staff, he became very hostile toward me, which reinforced my decision to move out. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend anyone to move to Adobe Ridge.

As with all places not everyone is satisfied , but I for one am so very happy here. Its been almost 8 months peace and quiet. The neighbors are so friendly. And I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and maint dept. I'm sorry your experience was not a good one but that is by far the exception than the norm. No place should be judged on one bad experience. Take it from me I have lived in a lot of places and this is a jem! I have recommeded this place to others and have had friends move in and well all are happy.

Sorry to say but it's such a bless that you moved out the community. Since the day you moved out, the neighbors really enjoyed their days living here with no more continuous false complains. You're living in apartment community where you must expect the sound from your next door. Since you were blamed not your next door, it means that you have a problem not your neighbor. Here's advice: if you wish a place completely quite and private, go buy a house ! I've been living here for about 10 months while attending dental school, and I'm about to renew my lease. Christina and Rhonda are very welcoming and helpful. Units are clean, new, updated and specious. Of course, nothing is perfect, but this place is good enough to be recommended for someone who's looking for a quiet and nice place with reasonable price.

Rather than speculate as to who wrote the review, why don't you show some courtesy toward your neighbors instead? This website is for tenants to post their experiences, whether good or bad. After reading these petty responses, I certainly don't blame Anonymous for choosing to move out. It doesn't seem like a very neighborly community.

I am a current renter and have been for over three years. Christina is condecending, Rhonda will lie to your face because she does not have any answers. Simple things like having a trash can by the mail box have been removed. Basically, I started renting there because I work down the street and it is convenient. I can fully back up the original posters comments. I have had the same experiences. The office staff waiting almost two months to do anything about someone's dog left on their patio 24/7 and barking, barking, barking. Currently, I am working on an issue with them where they did not let me know that they had doubled the discount I should receive because I work at a certain employer. Rhonda, once again, lied directly to my face. When pressed, she advised the "promotion" ended two weeks ago but I actually paid a deposit a month ago. Her favorite phrases: " I will discuss it with management" "I don't want to argue with you". Rhonda and the entire office staff need to learn that a tenant is allowed to ask questions without being accused of arguing. Oh, and by the way, being forced into a contract with Direct TV that extended beyond the terms of my lease with Adobe Ridge is not right in any way. I have actually cancelled Direct TV at this point and am "internet streaming only" because Direct TV could never get their service to work right in my unit from day 1. Of course, I had to pay a penalty for "cancelling early". To sum up, potential renter beware. If you are happy with having terms changed, being talked down to and lied to outright, and having the community "with very high standards" (according to Christina) continue to downgrade month over month while being charged a premium price, go for it. If you have half a brain and your own "high personal standards", look somewhere else. Let your dollar speak for you.
