The comments from 11-18 hit the nail on the head. My #1 complaint was the noise from the Marriott next door. Shuttle bus sppeds through the parking lot and 5:30- 6:00 am. There is really no reason to do so sonce making a left on to 44th st at that hour is not a problem. It seemed they only did it during non office hours. It slowed down for a few weeks after I sent the police over there after dozens of phone calls to the marriott complaining about it. I even callled corporate in MD, and some punk kid who claimed to be the regional mamanger stated "what do you want me to do , fly out there and talk to them myself." I told her if thats what it takes to fix the problem then ya come on out, its not like your going to pay for it.
The Manager was never avaible, always in a meeting or "off-site". The accounting Dept, Im not going to mention her name was a joke. The water bill was never even close to being the same. There was one guy who lived in a 1 bdrm always had hid GF and each kid over so 4 of them. Who do you think paid for all the water they used. Not him. This IDIOT even cooked on the balcony with a grill, and staff did nothing about it. There is NO parking. They let ppl park in front and walk over to the marriott and fly off somewhere leaving there car for days at a time. Sometimes a week. I can only guess they didnt want to park at the marriott, cause there afraid of being broken into. The residents have become quite "ethnic" near the end of my lease. They made sure they brought there loud music and pitbulls with them. During construction, there where several pervert security guards. they had a habit of stand out on empty balcony's peeping into townhouse apts in the AM. I complained about that and the girls in the office laughed. It was real funny until i sent a tape of the "looky lou's" and sent it to corporate. Short;y after that she wasnt there any more, I hope they fired her sorry A**. If you live in the Townhouses and want to BBQ. Forget about it. You have to go past the office through the lobby down the hall around the pool. Oh and dont forget your passkey. try that along with your cooking untisels and food. Yeah they do have a grill over on the Townhouse side, but dont forget your Charcoal. Yep that right, no gas.
As for parking forget about it. there are like 8 spots for over 40 townhouses. See they conviently put a parking stop in yuor garage 3 feet from the wall. So unlees you have 2 compact cars you can only park one car in there. Some of the more considerate neighbors leave there car in the same spot for over a week at a time. One clown had Tags that expired back in 2002. I enjoyed having him towed. Another clown took the plates off his car and put a 4sale sign on it. Only took a day to tow that idiot.
I didnt even mention the "urban campers" that roam the grounds at night with there burglar tools in there pockets. there easy to notice. I could go on and on but I wont. I dont live there anymore and neither should you.
Just one thing, Call your insurance agent and ask about Insurance in that neighborhood and wait for there response. LOLOLOL
