The building itself is nice and the ammenities are nice. We rented primarily based on these reasons. Unfortunately, there was a management change, and the new management (Greystar) seemed to loose the same vision that the previous management had on how to treat a resident / customer. Also, given the location of the property and the demographic that this complex now targets, I had to deal with loud rap music in the middle of the night, trash all over the hallways, the smell of pot lingering and believe it or not, somebody stole the valve caps off of my tires when I was on vacation.
Again, the building itself is pretty nice. I loved the underground parking garage. The elevators are incredibly convenient for moving. But after 15 months of living there, I had my limit of college kids trashing the place that I called home.

Unfortunately, my biggest complaint is with the managment. I moved out 2 weeks ahead of schedule so that I could thoroughly clean the apartment, including shampoo the carpets. A couple of weeks later, I got $150 cleaning bill from the management. They claim that the carpets were dirty beyond normal wear and tear and claimed that I left the place dirty enough to charge me $85 to clean it. Neither the apartments or myself had pictures to prove either of our cases, but they were (and still are) unwilling to compromise, and have already threatened to take me to court.... over $150.

If this is how you want to be treated, and you don't mind the smell of pot or the sound of rap music, Alanza place is your haven.
