I stayed in Andente for a lease term of 13 months. The move-in costs were very low and two months free rent was provided as incentive to move which was spread over the term of the lease and significantly reduced my monthly rent. That was the good part.

At the time of signing the paperwork I was told that the location had ?high speed internet?. After moving in I came to find out that this service was provided by the property?s management own company, who was reselling the internet service of Quest. This wouldn?t be so bad but there were 500 units in the complex and these were going over two T1 lines ? the effective equivalent of getting just over dial-up speeds for the cost of cable or DSL. The managers misrepresented themselves during the move in by stating that I would be able to get other service provides if I didn?t want to go with their company ? pangeatech. This, I found out after moving in, was not true. As it turned out pangeatech was the only provider that had a contract for the site to provide internet service. During the last 4 month of my lease even this service?s speeds got worse then when I had moved in.

The first floor unit that I was located in had a reoccurring problem with crickets. It seemed that the management company deiced to deal with this issue in a reactive way instead of proactively spraying for the pests. If the tenant didn?t mention it, they didn?t do anything about it. I ended up just getting used to them, but individuals that can not deal with seeing large crickets climbing on their walls may want to thing twice about this site.

There was a murder at this location during the year that I lived there. This really didn?t have anything to do with the management company or the site itself. As it turned out, a deranged individual, after loosing their job went on a killing at the complex that ended with the death of two individuals and the wounding of another. This was a tragic event, but nothing that could have been expected.

Andante is an OK apartment complex, but I have see more provided for less money. If you really must live there, do so. Just be aware that there are better locations in the close area. Personaly, I wouldn't suggest this apartment to anyone I know.
