Iâve lived here for a year and have been pleasedâit has been a good value for Awatukee.

Over all I have felt very safe here; I live alone so safety is always a concern.

It is a quiet complex and my neighbors seem very niceâno â?riff raffâ hanging around.

My building is a mix of people: one retired couple, mom and teenage daughter, college age couple, one middle age couple.

All are quiet and have been nice neighbors.

I got a good price on a unit that had been vacant for two months; when inquiring, ask if they have any units they are running specials on.

The apartment was in great shape and very clean when I moved in.

Iâve only needed the light bulb outside my front door replaced and the garbage disposal fixed.

They fixed both things the next day.

Once I locked my keys in my car (at Wal-Mart of all places) so I needed to get into my apartment to get an extra set of keys.

A maintenance guy returned my page quickly and even met me at the apartment office at 7pm to give me a key to my apartment.

Beware that they have an exclusive internet provider (with an air tight contract) and their idea of high speed service is one T-1 line for the entire complex.

It is slower than my dial up.

Iâve called every internet provider in the Valley and no one offers service to the complexâeven if you beg and plead.

And donât pay your rent lateâtheyâll have a note from a lawyer on your door with all kinds of fees and a threat of eviction before you can blink.

However, when they received my check which was post marked before the first of the month, they waived the fees.
