We have only lived here for 5 months, but have a 13 month lease.

We want out!! The first few months were ok, except very thin walls.

BUT, it has gotten worse, much worse.

One day we went to our storage shed and found our $500 bikes were gone, SOMEONE had to have a key to get in, because we LOCK everything.

We reported it to management, called police, etc.

WE had to INSIST our locks be changed.

Then we recieved a noise complaint from a neighbor- which is insane, we never even play music or blast the tv.

Again, went to the office to explain ourselves, but were told if we get another complaint, they would have to discuss this issue further.

Here's the kicker- we recently were out of town for 3 days and came back to a message on our answering machine stating we had been reported for noise!! WE WEREN"T EVEN HOME!!! We have a crazy neighbor! WE HATE IT HERE! When we went to the management, we had to explain we weren't even home.

We've had 2 harrassing noise complaints that were not valid and $500 worth of property stolen.

If anyone knows how to get out of a lease, I would love any advice.
