Too Much Chocolate Spoils The Soup!

A few months ago I was thinking about getting an apartment at Andover Park.
I called Andover Park and explained that I was a resident at Clarendon Park and asked if they had any openings.
I was told by the woman I spoke with that there were no vacancies.
I was shocked to hear this because a friend had told about several vacancies.
I decided to call back and change my voice.
Maybe I sounded too black the first time I called.
When I called the second time, I used a british accent.
This time, the woman who told me there were no vacancies changed her tune.
In fact, she was urging me to stop by and talk to her.
I politely declined.
MMMMM! I guess too much chocolate spoils the soup!

I can't wait for the manager's response to this... LOL. It should be highly amusing. I'm sure it will consist of the usual denial and the "we don't discriminate". Or my personal favorite is when they attack the reviewer. They will probably call this reviewer a liar or an idiot. This is just more proof that the staff says whatever they want until they get caught, but it's too late if you have already signed a lease. Is this really the type of company you want to live with???

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Nothing more needs to be said about this subject.

The only way you would get into Andover Park Apts, AKA 3rd Ave Palms Condo.. is to BUY, or rent from an investor!. Over $215,000.00 for the inside price for a one bedroom apt. aka unit. The sales office as it known will treat you like dirt or worse if you are a resident not interested in buying. I don't believe color was the issue in your case, the only color these people are interested in is the all mighty GREEN. Yes the complex is nice, but come on, the prices are,... well, you will see for your self. So much unnecessary money was/is being spent to up grade the complex, and it is being passed on big time. I truly feel the Andover Park Staff knew of the conversion that took place, although they said they were shocked when they found out about the sale and conversion of the property. All this is going on, and they knew nothing. Believe that, and I have a bridge I will sell you. This new company could care less about the existing residents, we are just a pile of dog **it to them. They want all of us out ASAP so they can start making big money. GHEE, I hope the real estate bottom does not fall out before they can recoup their millions. Have you noticed the vacancies? Check it out - your are across the street and down the block. Out of 158 apts. about 70 are vacant. RESIDENTS MOVED, and moved fast. Prices were too expensive for the units. Think of it, 70 empty apts since the end of Aug/beginning of Sept, that should tell you something. |
