Take it from someone who has been here for years! Think twice before renting from Arcadia Cover Apartments, Phoenix!!!!!!
This apartment complex is in a state of constant decline and I will not resign by lease with BRE property managemnt.
All year long both pools at the property have been cloudy, green and otherwise filthy. Now that winter's here yes, they finally cleaned them up, but now, the pool heater in the South pool does not work.
Regarding the gym: If you are coming here to save money on a health club membership, FORGET IT!
All of the equipment in the gym is in need or repair or replacement. Especially the treadmills and stairstepper which never work and always say "Contact Maintenance on the control panel" I have reported the problems to managment on numerous occasions but I am always told "We are going to purchase new ones." Yeah, RIGHT!
Overall, the clientele here has really gone downhill. Lots of seeming seedy characters milling about. I wonder if this place has not been overrun by drug dealers. Also, the paid garages are not a place to park your car, but rather a place to do business it seems. People are using the garages as workshops and places to hang out rather than be in their apartments. Trust me it is quite sleazy. People are welding, sanding, sawing, listening to loud music, partying to all hours of the morning. Mind you these garages are in clear distance from your living room, dining room and balcony. In addition, you drive by this constantly as the seedy characters loiter around the open garage doors where they are always 'hanging out.'
The managment team is friendly and the maintenance requests (for inside apartment jobs) get done quickly, but the pool, the changing clientel (drugs,)the garage issue and the gym improperly maintained should be reason enough not to rent here. I won't resign my lease that ends this year. There are just too many other newer, cleaner apartments to choose from. For around $100 more per month you can get an apartment in a brand new community.
