Maybe I just lucked out when I moved to Arioso a little over three years ago, but I've had none of the problems so many people here have written about. The only thing I've noticed is the high turnover of tenants in my particular building. In those three years I've had probably four different neighbors across the breezeway and the same number immediately upstairs. All of whom, however, have been quiet.

My infrequent maintenance requests have been taken care of within 48 hours after being placed. While this service has deteriorated since I first moved in (at the time things were fixed same day), it hasn't been a huge inconvenience.

They are attempting to rectify the security problems, most recently hiring a full-time security company to patrol the grounds. The "Big Brother" DO YOU HAVE YOUR PAPERS aspect troubles me, but I can understand why they're doing it in light of the postings I've read here.

I agree to a point. The noise has been solved. I'll give kudos to the complex about that. I sleep in peace each night.

You're right I don't really like the fact that i'm going to be stopped in my own complex now. I sort of feel like being babysat in a way. Easy way to solve that, give us complex parking stickers in the front window. If you don't have a sticker, yeah stop em. That's fine, but if you have one, then leave us alone. I don't know. It's not a huge deal, but not the best idea. I've never been in a complex where they're had to stop the residents to see your business..."Um, I'm going home. Oh you need my ID?" LOL
