THis property use to not be so bad years ago. But Banard Allison who was also know as Banard Finley at one time is the worst.Yes scorpions are real and breed there on this property. How would you like to be sleeping and get stung in your sleep. Sewer problems are bad exspecially in the Back west courtyard it has been known to sit for days. Inside the apartments are falling apart and they don't do anything, Carpet has been there for over 10yrs in some apartment units. They are allowing trashy neighbors in and along with that they are more concerned now about the way the apartments look then the problems like scorpions, bugs, things that need fix. You cares about the outside when the inside and the scorpions need to be dealt with first. They will tell you there is not a problem TRUST ME THERE IS AND THEY ARE FALLING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT...I have seen children being aloud to play in sewer water in the back court yard. It is the worst place i have ever lived. Years ago it was great management cared, maintance cared and now the only people that care are residents and maintance mangement could care less they don't live on property and why because the scorpions are so bad

Scorpions are indigenous to AZ if you don't like them I suggest you move out of the desert.

I used to live there 4 or 5 years ago and they weren't that bad as far as the porches and such go. Scorpions and cockroaches were around, but it wasn't really anything too extreme. They were pretty nice.

i posted a few reviews on the complex next door. we also have scorpions, if not more than this complex because of the location (closer to the golf course). My management also told me they are indigenous to AZ; i retorted with a simple 'they are not indigenous to my bed'. Such is true as well, I lived in a house on voltaire and 19th avenue for 5 years, we had 2 scorpions in plain site, on the carpet near an open door both times. I had 2 here in a week this is an indication of an active population in your walls. I have studied the bark scorpion and even wrote a speech on Centruroides exilicauda, as a result of my wifes pregnancy and me being stung in bed. The scorpions in these apartments are a problem because bugs exist, and they are all rundown complexs, with management that cares about the outside look, which is also decrepid. To suggest moving out of the state of AZ because of this scorpion is not only absurd but quite ignorant; you dont live in these complexs. I also must go further on the neglect of the management in these complex???s. Cars are broken into and stolen like this place is a d a mned shopping center. My neighbors was stolen, the other neighbors had stuff stolen from the inside along with my stuff; a radar detector and cds. I have seen the security guard 3 times in the month since, all 3 times hassling residents. These complex???s are a f u c k ing joke, do not move here. The scorpion problem can be controlled; I sealed my unit and now routinely find them outside, if bugs didn???t exist it would be such an issue. The newest construction right here in Phoenix (19th avenue and tbird) is not close enough to cause a scorpion problem where I reside. Save yourself frustration and possible pain, as well as theft and possible burglary, even rape, don???t move to any complex on 19th avenue and tbird.
