The apartments look nice for the most part from the outside, the insides are ok and maintenance issues are resolved quickly and courteously.
Car and vehicle theft however is rampid. Many of my immediate neighbors have had their vehicles stolen and some more than once from the parking lot here. I myself had a car stolen 10 months ago and most recently my only remaining transportation, a motorcycle was stolen from here.
Crime free neighborhood policy...'' It's certainly not upheld.
I was told recently by management that they do not offer "Security". They offer "Courtesy Patrol". The management also informed me the tenants safety and on property vehicle theft is not their responsibility. I'm not lying here.
If you have a wife, girlfriend or children I recomend finding another apartment complex due to lack of security and crime.

I completely agree!! stay away from this place! As a matter of fact, you might be best off staying away from the city of phoenix!! Thats right, I can say from experience that all apartments have problems. I have worked property management in phoenix and I have lived on several of these properties and they are all the same. Owners are all business and truly dont care, this puts the management in a bad situation because they are constantly trying to cover the owners butt, (whom lives in a mansion on a hill in California). These owners visit the property maybe once or twice a year and tenants can usualy tell because suddenly the whole property looks FABULOUS for about 2 or 3 days and there are a couple of BMW's and Audi's snooping around. The office staff is usually quite grumpy durring this time (yes, even more than usual). Tenants become just another annoyance because we are trying to get things acomplished but there arent enough hours in a day to listen to all of the complaints that come in and still take care of collections, endless amounts of paperwork, vendors, package deliveries, more leasing (to keep the owners happy), and a million other daily responsibilities. Remeber when you signed your lease? You suddenly went from treated like a "guest", to just another file in the cabinet. The management represents the owner, NOT the tenant. Therefore, residents are kinda left on their own to figure things out, like the crime-free program. Once again many residents assume that this is a safety provided by their kind property management right? Nope, Look it up, this program is still just another C.Y.A. for the owners. Crime-free housing is a program by the Phx P.D. there is an addendum on your lease that says if YOU commit crime YOU can be evicted. Of course, this is nice to know that we dont have to LIVE by criminals, but that doesnt keep them from comming onto the property. As I have said, I live here, and I have worked on properties in Phoenix and I hate to say it but I am scared to death to do both! I know how angry I was all the times my car was broken into, so I can relate to that issue, but immagine when other angry residents come in threatening my safety in the office because they believe our "Crime -Free policy" means that we garantee NO CRIME. Ok I hate to make such a long post about the crime issue but I would like to warn, and educate anyone looking to rent an apartment. Remember "knowledge is power" and you will need to know all of your legal rights, and the owner and owner representative responsibilities BEFORE you sign your lease. I may sound old and bitter but I have learned since living here and a few other PHX apartments, not to trust anyone, anytime, for any reason!
