I lived there when it was still Thunderbird Ranch Apartments. We only lived there a year and liked it at first, but HATED it instantly. I cant really remember the FIRST day we moved there(we moved in 5 years ago). But i can remember the apartments. We lived next to the street(apt. #66) and there were 19 scorpion problems. The neighbor had drowned in one of the apartment pools because there were never locks on the pool gates, THREE buildings burned on fire in the year that we lived there, my sisters bedroom window had a BB gun shot through it while she was sleeping, you can barely fit in the kitchen it was so small, there was broken glass on the sidewalk and in the grass, the management was t errible, and there were cockroaches EVERYWHERE!!! Unfortunately they didnt let us move out until a year after we moved in. So we were worried everynight of the roaches, scorpions, and all that crap i just mentioned. And I think that they changed the name from Thunderbird Ranch to Autumn Ridge because people stopped renting from bad reviews. I recommend you DONT rent an apartment here.

That sucks. In California the law only requires residents pay $20 for each remaining month of their lease in order to get out of the lease and be clear of it. Arizona law is ridiculous for renters just in that respect, they allow landlords to hold you to the full lease term and if you decide to break the lease terms they then charge you $1,500 any other fees such as a cleaning fee, painting, carpet cleaning, etc. It really isn't fair especially in a case such as mentioned by the above renter.
