The day I moved in there were 5 black widows on my back porch. The first month I went just around the building I live in and found 12 more. I have found over, AND I MEAN OVER 15 bark scorpions (which are the most dangerous ones) in my apartment and on my back porch within one year. I can't sleep at night and go around the apt at night with a big black light to find them.The managers made it seem like they took care of them but all they do is have pest control come out and spray for bugs. They have yet to do a scorpion treatment. I had mold growing on both bedroom windows and found it was growing in the walls. The managers show you a model of the apartment you will be renting. Should of been my first clue! Their lease agreement is worded in a way that is misleading so that when you move out they can get out of giving you your deposit back and charge you for other things. Which is why I keep EVERY letter, paper, and note and write down EVERY date, time and who I talked with. I can see why there has been fires here, the electrical outlets are a joke. The cords just fall out and when I plugged in a lamp in (the wall between my room and my sons room)my sons room it would turn off anything I had plug in in my room on that wall. The maintenance guy came out to fix it and damn near fried himself. The heater will stay on even when I turned it off. The office staff seems to change every month. I thought about making up those advertising signs that say "Move-in Specials' "New Management" etc. and have them say "Free Scorpions" Free Black Widows" "Bad Management". They couldn't sue me....it's the truth!
