This Place Is Horrid!

When my husband and I fist moved in I was pregnant.
We made a $400 security deposit, $200 was supposed to be refundable.
We moved in and everything seemed great, the place looked nice.
However, we were soon to find out that it was far from nice.
Our first problem, we were given the wrong parking space number and our trucked was towed.
When we brought this up to management they told us it was not their problem.
Next we noticed that our neighbors played music at all hours of the day and night.
We reported it...
nothing.
Then fall came around and we found that we had to keep our heat at about 85 to stay warm because THIS APARTMENT HAS NO INSULATION.
In fact, sitting in my living room I could hear kids yelling "car wash" at the gas station down the street.
Not only is there no insulation, there is no lights except for the ones in the kitchen and the bathrooms.
We also noticed that our garbage disposal was broken, whenever we turned it on the ENTIRE COUNTER would shake and rattle vigorously.
We called them and they said it would be fixed...
never happened.
During our time staying there, my husbands truck and my car were broken into and both cd players were stolen along with several hundred cd's and our cell phone chargers.
Once again, it wasn't managements problem.
When we asked them about their "gym" that they advertise they told us we had to pay $50 for a key and then $10 a month membership.
It's not even worth that, I'd rather pay a REAL gym.
My husband and I began to get fed up and tried desperately to get out of the lease through Military Action (he is in the Air Force) when we asked them for their information about the owner they refused and would not sign a military document saying that they wouldnt.
They were arrogant and down right rude.
When my husband informed his uppers of this they black balled the apartment (meaning that no military person is allowed to lease there).
That is how absolutely horrid this place is.
Please take my advice, and the advice of others and DONT LIVE HERE!

I also forgot to mention in my review that they did not refund any of our deposit, in fact they are saying we OWE THEM $50 for the damages. There weren't any damages, we only lived there for 6 months and we cleaned the apartment very well.

whoever you are, you have got to be out of your MIND!!!!!! first of all the key to the gym is only $25 for the whole term of your lease, and second of all,if you had all these problems then obviously you didnt really care or you would have done something about it. you really complain to much about petty stuff. maybe you should live on pluto!!!!

what they call a gym?? its not even a gym. so dirty in there. i live here and dont even want to walk in there.

The office staff is VERY RUDE. Lived there before and they kept my $200 deposit saying the carpet was damaged when it only had one bitty itty stain the size of a dime. I had my brother in-law shampoo it before I turned in the key. My brother in-law installs carpets and professional shampoo for a living. The management is so wrong. You will NEVER get your deposit back so forget about it once you give it to them!!!
