The complex looks great. The apartments are nice. The staff stinks and stinks hard. They are, with one exception, rude, incompetent, and clueless.
The parking situation is ridiculous. Spaces are assigned in the garage by some mystic computer. Your space couldn't be further from your apartment, and the very thought of lugging groceries from my car to my apartment has helped keep my refrigerator virtually empty.
Nothing works. Including the complex management. There seem to be 10 people working in the office and I have no clue what anyone does. It seems like 12 people live here and no one in the office seems to care to remember who you are or where you live. The call boxes at the gates haven't worked since I've lived here. They have replaced the grass 3 times since I have lived here. Everything, including the rock landscaping, dies.
The application and lease signing process were a nightmare. I had everything except a rectal exam to get in here. I'm not kidding. Try it. I dare you. It took at least 2 weeks to get approval.
I would give you more details on the situations I have faced here, but the management would be able to figure out who I am since only 12 people live here. And then, I fear, my life would become a living hell...
Oh wait, I live at Camelback Square...nevermind.
To be continued...
By the way, the actual apartments are very nice, the management just has their head up their you know what...

UPDATE!!!! This just in... the fire alarm continues to go off, most recently at 2am on Friday night (or was it Saturday morning'). The gates leading into the buildings no longer close all the way leaving access for all the unsavory characters that wander around the park.
The management continues to suck big time. Instead of planning parties and blowing up balloons, they ought to spend more time fixing the things that are wrong around here:
1. None of the elevators have licenses.
2. None of the gates work properly.
3. Parking is not consistently enforced.
4. The keypads for the gates don't work.
5. The fire alarm continues to go off, sometimes in the middle of the night.
6. When you complain about something they act like they don't care and its your fault, then tell you how 'priveleged' you are to live in such an upscale complex.
7. There was a leak in the walls of the main building and I know of one resident who had to have her toilet removed and half of her wall ripped out of her bathroom.
8. The concierge carts that are supposed to be in each vestibule on each floor in the garage to help you transport your groceries across the Gobi Desert that is the length of the hallway to your apartment are never there, and disappear within minutes of being put back.
9. I could go on and on and on, and perhaps I will, just not tonight...
If you are a resident here, several other residents that I have spoken to are interested in possibly picketing the complex on a busy weekend afternoon across the street. Leave a review if you would be interested in joining. Perhaps we can work together to get the management in this place interested in fixing things that are broken. Moreover, it would be nice if they treated their residents like human beings.
