We have just finished our first week of living here, and so far, we're extremely happy. We have a 4th floor loft, so we haven't had to deal with any parking problems, since all the spaces on the roof (right near our apt) are available. (note: we haven't even been able to find our actual space yet - not that we'll use it)
The apt itself is beautiful, and we love that everything is brand new. All the utilities have actually been pleasant to work with, and there are no charges for each tv - one charge, every cable outlet is on.
So far, we've felt very safe, and walk our dogs in the park across the street every day, as do a number of other friendly dog owners.
Our biggest complaints would be the noise from the pool (we live on the inside overlooking a pool, and the noise echoes a LOT, but closing the windows really helps.), the superstrict leasebreaking policy, and the fact that there is no Outgoing mail box. What's with that'' To send mail, you have to visit a post office or take it to the leasing office.
In general, so far, we're very happy, I think a lot of the problems mentioned before were growing pains and brand new construction problems. Sounds like they tried to lease too early, before things were done, but we've experienced none of the problems listed in other reviews. (parking gates all work fine, no reports of vandalism, no problems with the park, and no fire alarms going off)
The location is great, my office is in Tempe, and it takes less than 20 minutes in traffic to get there. The staff has also been very helpful, though there is a definite "elitist" attitude taken by the staff, as if you have to be "good enough" to live there. So far, they've been more than helpful, and more than friendly. (even more so, once you pass the stringent credit checks...)
