Three management companies in a year and a half; first one was great and very helpful; current one - don't expect much (generally not very pleasant and they don't seem concerned about the residents.

Negatives:
1. Parking is a nightmare. You get one assigned spot and depending on where you live, not very convenient. Mine is about 12 spots down from my apartment. The spots are extremely close together and most people don't know how to park. There are very few uncovered spots which means that you can count on you spot being parked in at least once a week.
2. I don't think the kids in this complex have any parents. They are out and running around all hours of the day and night. The landscaping is rock and the kids like to throw rocks at one another, which means cars are getting hit all the time. There seems to be a lot of shady people coming and going too. I am sure there is quite a bit of drug and gang activity happening as well.
3. The walls are not good at suppressing noise or the like. My next door neighbors smoke pot occasionally and when they do, you can smell it in the kitchen. I don't think the plumbing is done all that well. My upstairs neighbors have three kids. They like to run back and forth in their apartment and it sounds like a pack of wild horses up there.
4. The appliances are very old but they work. My dishwasher washes but you have to rinse off dirt and soap after you wash. The fridge seals are old and warped and have a lot of leaks. The stove works just fine. I do have a smell in my garbage disposal that I have not been able to get rid of either. The washers and dryers in the laundry room work just fine, if you can get one (go about 5pm). The bathroom is old but functional and not bad.
5. Overall, the complex is not that good.

Positives:
1. I have a one bedroom and it is 709 sqft. It is very spacious with a pretty design set up. The pantry is sufficient enough for most use along with abundant cabinet space (I have about 3 unused cabinets). The hall closet is good size and big enough to store vacuum and what not. The bedroom closet is extremely huge with tons of space and a built in shoe rack. The only knock is that you have to store you bathroom items, towels, sheets, etc., in your bedroom closet.
2. For the size of the apartment, you can't beat the price. I pay $485 right now but I did get a special upon move in too. I think the going rate is $510 or $520 but you will have to check for specials. One perk is a memebership to Sams Club which is across the street and Cricket Pavillion in right behind the place too.
3. Complex is close to I-10 freeway and the 101.

Overall, I would recommend that you live here only if you have run out of options and are looking on very short notice (there are numerous apts available).
