I have resided here for 2 1/2 years and cannot wait to get out. The property has ascended into the depths of what is characteristically associated with 30 year old master-metered buildings (utilities paid). The tenant profile has almost hit nadir. The hallways are redolent of paucity (you know - that smell you get when people fry everything they eat because that is all they can afford). Safety is questionable, as the building is not secure - the gates have been inoperable for about 2 months now. I won't blame the managers for the maint. issues, but the tenant profile is another case. I awoke last night at 3 am to the sounds of the "Redemption Song" and the overwhelming smell of cannabis. Then this morning around the same hour to an obviously inebriated female shouting expletives from her patio. When I moved in, it was a bargain for the price. Not so much the case anymore - @ 1,200 per month you could rent a house or condo in the neighborhood. Just ask the manager when a problem with a tenant or a lovely skateboarder practicing their ollies on the concrete overhangs decides to sit on your patio furniture she will shrug her shoulders and simply declare that you call the police .
