Superb location and caring staff but slightly bureaucratic

I leased via long distance without seeing anything more than photos. Was pleased that the actual place matched descriptions and pictures. The staff are very accommodating however seem to be tied down to the bureaucracy of the huge corporation that manages the property thus any issue can take some time to work through though the staff do keep on it. Buildings are older so the walls and counters do have imperfections from aging but the buildings are well maintained and they have an excellent system of requesting maintenance. Concrete walls kill most sound. Cockroaches are present but don't run the place. My apartment has new carpets, linolium, fridge, stove, and dishwasher. The location is unbelievable: right on Camelback with great convenience to all types of shopping (2 grocery stores within 2 blocks!) as well as highways (Hwy 51 access is 2 blocks away). Parking is assigned with lots of guest parking. Each grouping of buildings has a swimming pool so everyone is close to one. Likewise with laundry facilities which are clean and with ample machines. I'm very pleased with my choice but if 'new' is important to you this is NOT your place!
