I MOVED TO COPPER PALMS ABOUT A YEAR AGO.
I AM A 21 YEAR OLD GIRL AND I MOVED INTO A ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT.
I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A GREAT DEAL THE APARTMENTS LOOKED REALLY NICE FOR THE PRICE.
THE LADIES IN THE OFFICE SEEMED REALLLY NICE DURING THE WALK THROUGH/LEASE SIGNING.
ONCE I MOVED IN IT ALL WENT DOWNHILL.
MY CARPETS REEKED LIKE DOG PEE AND WERE ALMOST BLACK.
THIS OF COUSE DIDNT SHOW UP UNTIL A FEW DAYS AFTER I MOVED IN BECAUSE THEY JUST HAD THE CARPETS CLEANED SO THEY LOOKED NICE WHEN I MOVED IN.
MY HOUSE ALWAYS SMELLED AND YOU WOULDNT WANT TO WALK AROUND WITH YOUR SHOES OFF.
I COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS SO THEY CHANGED THE CARPET PADS WHICH DID NOTHING.
I COMPLAINED AGAIN AND THEY SAID THERES NOTHING THEY COULD DO.
WHENEVER I HAD FRIENDS OVER THEY WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SMELL OF PEE.
ALSO MY PARKING SPOT WAS WAYY FAR FROM MY APARTMENT.
THE SHOWER WAS FILTHY, THE TOILET WAS BLACK, THE OVEN WAS SOO DIRTY THAT I COULDNT COOK BECAUSE IT WOULD SMOKE THE WHOLE PLACE OUT.
ALSO THERE ARE SOOO MANY CRACK HEADS AND CREEPY DRUNKS LIVING HERE.
ITS SOOOOOOOO SCARY AT NIGHT.
I ALWAYS SEEM THEM WALKING AROUND OR FALLING DOWN.
THEY TRY TO TALK TO YOU AND ITS VERY SCARY FOR YOUNG GIRL.
WHEN I WOULD CALL SECURITY THEY WOULD SEND A 90 YEAR OLD MAN TO CHECK THE SITUATION OUT, AND THE CREEPS WOULD BE BACK THE VERY NEXT NIGHT FOLLOWING ME FROM MY CAR.
ALSO I HAD A RUN IN WITH SOME GUY WHO SAID HE WORKED AT CORPORATE.
HE WOULD COME TO MY APARTMENT AND TRY TO THREATEN ME BECAUSE HE ONCE CAUGHT ME WALKING MY DOG WITHOUT A LEASH.
THEN EVERY TIME I WOULD BE SITTING ON MY PORCH HE WOULD STAND THERE AND TALK TO ME AND TRY TO GET ME TO LET HIM IN.
I COMPLAINED BUT OF COURSE NOTHING GOT RESOLVED.
MY TOILET WOULD CLOG EVERY OTHER DAY.
THE COPS WERE THERE ALMOST EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.
NO JOKE.
THE POLICE HELICOPTER FLIES OVER THE COMPLEX WEEKELY.
FINALLY THIS BECAME TOO MUCH FOR ME TO HANDLE.
I WAS SCARED EVERY SINGLE DAY AND COULDNT STAND LIVING IN THIS DUMP (looks nice on the outside) SO I TOLD TONYA (the office lady) THAT I LOST MY JOB BECAUSE I FELT TOO BAD TO TELL HER WHY I WAS REALLY BREAKING MY LEASE.
SHE WAS NICE AT FIRST BUT THEN WHEN I GOT MY BILL SHE TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR EVERY LITTLE THING!!!! THAT PLACE WAS CLEANER WHEN I MOVED OUT THEN WHEN I MOVED IN!! THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR MY CARPETS EVEN THO I PUT ON THE WALK THROUGH THAT THEY WERE DISGUSTING!! THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR MY OVEN BEING DIRTY WHEN I NEVER EVEN USED IT!! FOR MY BATHTUB, FOR MY TOILETS, FOR FRIDGE HAVING A CRUMB IN IT!!!! FOR MY PADIO HAVING 4 CIG BUTTS!!! ENDED UP GETTING MOST THE CHARGES OFF AND SETTLING TO PAY $1,999.00 AFTER A HUGGGEEEE FIGHT WITH TONYA WHO WAS TRYING TO BE A BIT*H (for breaking the least and the stupid charges) THEY SENT MY BILL IN THE MAIL WHICH I COULD PAY ASAP IN CASH AND I GOT IT, 2 DAYS LATER I GOT A LETTER FROM THE CREDIT AGENCY SAYING THEY REPORTED ME!!! I DONT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE IT WAS 2 DAYS AFTER I GOT MY BILL!! I HAD THE MONEY TO PAY IT RIGHT AWAY!!!!! SO I ENDED UP WORKING OUT A DEAL AND PAYING THE $1,9000.00 THE DAY IT GOT REPORTED! BUT PLEASE TRUST ME YOU DO NOT WANT TO LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE A CRACK HEAD!!!!!!!!!! AND TONYA IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! SHE SEEMS SO NICE BUT SHE IS A HORRIBLE PERSON WHO WILL TRY TO ACT LIKE SHE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU BUT SHE IS REALLY WHITE TRASH.
THE OTHER LADY WHO WORKS THERE KRISTA IS VERY SWEET AND TRIED TO CALM CRAZY TONYA DOWN WHEN SHE WENT ON A RANT AND STARTED YELLING AT ME.
ANYWAYS DO NOT MOVE HERE THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER!!! IT IS NOT SAFE!!! TRUST ME!! I NOW LIVE IN A SUPEEEEEEEEER NICE CONDO AND I AM SOO MUCH HAPPIER!! :)

To bad you didn't read the ratings prior to moving in. I made sure the truth was known about Tonya, Copper Palms and the rest way back 6 years ago.
Here's the biggest problem that is yet to come. Tonya will NOT allow that mark off your credit for 7 years. And more than likely you will be hearing from a bill collector who will threaten to freeze your bank account. I'm not trying to scare you, just enlighten you as to the lows our dear slum lord Tonya will go to. We saw her going through a handicap lady's stuff (IN HER APARTMENT) while she was in the hospital. Be prepared to get an attorney. You may as well have kept the 1900 in your bank account. You know why you're not required to pay the completion of the lease? They have already moved someone else in to the dump you just moved out of. I'd put money on it.
Too Tonya, You never got a dime from me. I'll make sure as long as you're still there making peoples lives a living hell. I'll be right here telling the truth about you. How many 10's of thousands of dollars has your presents COST Piccern? Did you ever get those key's out of the pool? It's nice to read reviews like this one and know you're still a (super sized) satanic spirit haunting good ale Slummy Slope.
DO NOT MOVE IT TO THIS COMMUNITY. THEY HATE THEIR RESIDENTS!
