No real problems here...

I've been living in Desert Club for a little over a year and I really haven't had any of the problems that other people have stated. I am in my early 30s and have noticed that the majority of the other tenants are in their 20s. I guess I must be in a good building b/c I don't have many noise disturbances or hear parties or people at all times of the night.
The maintenance service I've requested has either been done the same day or the next day. I even requested something out of the ordinary and it was completed - this is when it was Archstone.
One complaint is that there is a tenant in my building who insists on not cleaning up after her dog. But I blame that on the tenant, not the complex.
Another complaint I have is that the gates are ALWAYS broken. But I've heard people say that even living in new gated residential neighborhoods, the gates are always broken. So maybe it's the gate company. It does seem as though they didn't plan the parking well b/c there doesn't seem to be enough parking compared to the number of apartments but it doesn't bother me much b/c I live in a 1 bedroom and only have a few visitors who've never had a problem finding a spot.
Overall, this is the best complex that I have ever lived in and I plan on staying until I purchase a house.
