Not Worth It

I am no longer a resident at this complex, but I wanted to put in my two cents. What first needs to be noted here is that this complex is no longer owned by Archstone and has not been owned by Archstone for quite some time. It is now owned by ING. Here is where the problem lies. I had friends that lived here when it was owned by Archstone, and very few problems existed. Since the ING takeover, it has been problem after problem. The gates did not work for as long as I lived there. Back in May of '05, the gates were supposed to be re-programed and fixed, but nope, they are still broken. A letter was sent out saying that there have been numerous break-in's in cars and that residents should take more caution. Now, wouldn't working security gates help with that' The weight room has gone from being quite nice to down right disapointing. The BBQ's used to be gas, but supposedly, so many residents wanted charcoal, so they have since been converted. We all know it is because ING did not want to foot the bill for the gas. Oh, and you have to provide your own charcoal. Most of the garages have weak sensors, and their doors will not close if the sun hits it. Luckily I did not have a garage, but my friend does and cannot get her door closed from the hours of 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The management is a joke. They have no clue what is going on. If you added all of their IQ's together, you would have the intelligence capability of a opossum. I was once told that it is ING company policy not to reward residents for loyalty or give concessions for extending your lease. It is so nice to know that they care about their residents so much.
