This place is so completely overrated. It is NOT Scottsdale, the address is Phoenix which you don't find out until you fill out paperwork. Keep in mind,if you have kids it will cost a lot more money to do commumity education. Also, you don't get the same perks as if you were a Scottsdale resident. First of all, if you look online or just drive around a little, you can find a better place or equivalant for less money. Also, the three bedrooms are outrageous. They advertise them as being much less than you actually end up paying. Water is expensive which people might not realize coming from another state. Also, the parking is AWFUL. I hate coming home after 4. You have to walk really far if your apartment is up front. Also, there is dog poop everywhere. The maintenance staff is always complaining, they are usually sitting in front of the tv in the business center. The gym is a joke. The tvs didn't work for most of the time that I have lived here. The pool is overcrowded by college students on the weekends and they are obnoxious throwing cigarette butts and drinking too much. And half of them don't even live here. We got a gym membership at lifetime because we couldn't take it anymore. The air conditioning in the units is terrible. The bedrooms stay too warm and the living room gets super cold. The staff is unfriendly and rude. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would recommend that they go find a nice house to rent for the same price. Oh and on more than one occasion we have had huge cockroaches crawl out of our bathroom sink.

Hi there,
Just wondering where it is that you moved from... thinking that water wouldn't be costly, that there are no extra fees and things that result in the final price being higher than you thought it would, and that there wouldn't be college students hanging out at the pool on weekends. If it's such an issue, go get yourself a house! I am familiar with this property and the demographic is mainly young single professionals. If you want a quiet peaceful family atmosphere, it would be better for all concerned if you moved to a community that catered to that. Not trying to be rude, I feel bad that you got locked into a lease at a place that wasn't what you were expecting. It's happened to me and it sucks. I'm just surprised that you are so appalled at what most north phoenix/scottsdale residents in communities like this one have come to expect. The staff should never be rude to you though! Thats crazy. But lay off the kids at the pool. Weren't you young once????

Ok so you obviously work there. And for you to say the staff would never be rude just proves it. I already did move. Away from Arizona. Arizona is a --------. I have rented both apartments and houses over the last 15 years and that is the FIRST time I have ever had that happen to me. And excuse me but the "young professionals" are all a bunch of bartenders and waitresses oh and mortgage professionals (same thing). Nice try though. And I was young once, that doesn't mean I acted like a slut and disrespected property and other resident's space. Being young does not give a person the right to be trashy and careless.
