The day we were supposed to move in we had to call off the movers we had hired because the apartment wasn't ready yet, even though they gave us that date to come pick up our key and move in.
When the apartment was "ready" we couldn't believe how filthy the apartment was. I thought it took some serious nerve to give new tenants an apartment in the bad condition it was in.
Filth you can clean at least...and then things will be better right' Wrong. Almost all our appliances were broken. The fridge was delapitated and was almost completely fallen apart. They did replace that after complaining (though I feel any idiot wouldn't have even tried to pass off a fridge in such condition to new tenants). Both of the toilets were broken, no shower rod in one bathroom, the washer and dryer do not work and they refuse to replace them, but did pull the dryer out about a foot out from where the washer sits and told us to not push it back or it wont work. So now the dryer is hanging out all ghetto-like because the management is too cheap to give working, functional appliances to their tenants. So, have fun at the laundromat while your "included washer and dryer in every unit" takes up precious storage space. The microwave is falling apart, and because its a built-in from 1973, unfortunately they no longer make microwaves that enormous, nor in that lovely hue of baby ---- brown, it cant be replaced. Sure it doesnt have the power it once had but at least its ugly.

Expect the management staff to be polite until the moment the lease is signed. I have never met a ruder, nor dumber, set of employees.

There is minimal parking if you have a second vehicle. Good luck finding a space, and look forward to the hike to get to your apartment from it.

The gated "secure" community is more of a pain in the butt than secure. We've been locked inside and outside of the gates because the gates malfunction at least once a week. So, not only are the appliances in the apartments old, ghetto, and cheap that dont function properly, but so are the gates just to get in the complex.

Another fun fact about this community is we have lived here for less than a year and there have already been 5 mandatory walk-thru's of every apartment for some bullsh*t reason or another. Sound excessive' Well, with all the repairs you'll need once you move in along with all the "mandatory" walk-thru's, might as well add a couple extra xmas stockings for management and maintenance around xmas time cuz they'll be in your apartment as much as you will. So, yes, its excessive. Oh, and they wont perform any repairs unless you give them permission to enter your apartment. So, you either have to decide to not get your repairs, or worry about such valuables like your porn collection.

One last nifty little tidbit, and dont say no one ever told ya so when it happens to you after you move here: Dont pay your rent late, not even one day, or you'll get a nice little $75 penalty. No, not $10-25 like most apartment complex's, this place is special! They like you to bend over and take all they can give ya! Dont forget the astro-glide, cuz they will!

All kidding aside, dont be fooled by how spacious the apartments are or that appliances are included. This place is a dump run by the poster children for abortion. I am very much looking forward to moving out of here.

I will say that the maintenance staff is quite friendly, and seem like alright people. I feel sorry for them that they have to work for the dipsh*ts in the front office.

Remember, seldom will you be shown the exact apartment you will get. Look and inspect the one you will get before you sign the lease and even then when you arrive to move in and go to the office for a key, you may get another apartment because...? of any excuse they give you. It happened to me and I got downgraded for the same rent price. What was I to do with the movers and u-hall and no other place to go?
